Coach bursts into flames on the M6

A coach burst into flames today on the M6 during a busy afternoon on the motorway with two other crashes in the West Midlands.

The coach blaze was between Junction 3 and 3A on the northbound carriageway in the Coventry area which closed all lanes while fire crews worked to put out the flames.

There was also a further two crashes on the M6 which caused some long delays.

A crash between Junction 6 and Junction 7 on the southbound carriageway caused lane closures and long delays in the area.

It came after a earlier crash on the M6 toll where a car crashed into the barrier.

Fortunately no one was injured in the crash.
