Kenichi Phillips death: Teenager arrested in Smethwick is charged with murder
A teenager arrested in Smethwick in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old in Birmingham has been charged with murder.

Kenichi Phillips was shot dead as he sat in a black Seat Leon on St Marks Crescent in the Ladywood area of Birmingham just before 7pm on Thursday, March 17.
West Midlands Police arrested a 17-year-old on Thursday morning and have now confirmed they have charged him with murder as well as robbery, possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin, possession of a bladed article in public and resisting or obstructing police.
The teen, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was appearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning.
A post-mortem examination confirmed Kenichi died from a gunshot wound.
