Great Barr firm targeted in vandal attack
A Great Barr construction firm has been left counting the cost of major damage which was caused by yobs who poured adhesive over its equipment.
Police have launched an appeal for information after two men struck at Westpoint Construction on Sandy Lane.
Major damage was caused as the substance was poured over engine tanks and exhausts of several piece of plant equipment during the weekend of April 9 and 10. An appeal has now been launched to try and catch them.
Great Barr Councillor David Hosell condemned their actions.
He said: "This is going to have a widening effect if it has gone over all the machinery. You would think these people could find better things to do. Hopefully the police will catch them quickly."
