'Beautiful' teenage mother dies in Stourbridge crash

The family of a 'beautiful' 18-year-old mother killed after a car crashed into a wall in Stourbridge have today paid tribute to 'the light of their lives'.

Police confirmed last night that the Nadine Foster had died after being involved in the smash in Hagley Road, Oldswinford, on Saturday.

Officers were called to the road just before 12.20am following reports of a blue Ford Focus crashing into a wall. It is believed Nadine was travelling in the Focus.

Nadine's family today paid tribute to the 18-year-old, who they described as the 'light of their lives'.

A statement released by the family said: "We are devastated to have lost our beautiful Nadine. She was a loving mother, daughter and grand-daughter.

"She was a happy, smiley girl and the light of our lives. Nadine will be missed every day; her loss has left a void that will never be filled.

"We ask that people kindly respect our privacy at this sad time."

Her Facebook profile reveals that she was a former student at both Dudley College and Stourbridge's Pedmore Technology College.

Tributes have also been paid to her online.

Saskia Sadler posted on the social network: "Rip Nadine Foster.

"One of my close girls so horrible to look on your Facebook and see a beautiful girl who was the best mother to her child to be dead.

"God always takes the best ones. Sending my love to your family and little man rest easy baby girl gunna miss you like mad!! Party hard up there girl. Loves you loads."

Another friend, Taylor Goodwin, wrote: "Rest easy Nadine Foster my thoughts go out to your family and especially your little boy."

Courtney Taylor posted: "Rip Nadine Foster you will be missed but you will always be loved."

Jade Kelly Wakefield said: "Rip Nadine Foster still in complete shock taken way too young such a beautiful girl and a great mother.

"Never forget the memories we shared. Thoughts are with your family and especially your little boy at this sad time."

Zoe Williams wrote: "Can't believe

I've just woke up and heard about this beautiful caring, loving girl has been taken from us.

"Nadine Foster was an amazing girl kept a smile on everyone's face always! Made me laugh loads! Wouldn't hurt a fly."

An appeal was immediately launched by police after the incident.

PS Chris Ridge, from West Midlands Police's Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We continue to establish the circumstances that led to the collision and would appeal to anyone that was in the area before or immediately after the collision to get in touch.

"We are keen to speak to people who may have seen the blue Focus and a silver Renault Clio travelling along the A491 Hagley Road towards Bromsgrove in the moments before the collision."
