Border security are struggling to keep the crisis at Calais under control with hundreds of migrants attempting to force their way across the Channel - and these images show that three have made it all the way to the Midlands.

The footage was filmed in Stourbridge on Tuesday on the A458 The Hayes and shows three people suddenly emerge from inside a parked lorry after cutting through the side of it.

One after another they leap from the lorry and run off into Stourbridge - more than 250 miles from Calais.

West Midlands Police said it was unaware of the incident. Around 200 migrants are reported to have reached UK soil over the last five days as the Government has come under increasing pressure to bring the situation under control.

Stourbridge councillor Mohammed Hanif said: "It is shocking news, we cannot allow that.

"It is a huge thing going on in Calais and we need to support it and control it as much as we possibly can.

"If there is evidence they are in Stourbridge then we have got to put some better security controls on it. It needs to be handled in a more positive way."
