Lorry and car crash on M6 caused rush-hour tailbacks

A HGV and van collided on the M6 this morning, causing two lanes to close and 30 minute delays during rush-hour traffic.

The collision happened on the southbound carriageway near to Junction 10a, for Essington, at around 7.30am.

The Highways Agency said the lanes reopened by around 8.15am, although motorists were hit by 30 minute delays.
Nobody was thought to have been seriously injured.
