Pedestrian dies after Lichfield collision
A pedestrian died after a collision in Lichfield this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 5am this morning in Lichfield Road, Whittington.
An ambulance together with a paramedic support officer and a community paramedic in a rapid response vehicle attended the scene.
Steve Parry, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "Crews attended a road traffic collision involving a van and pedestrian.
"Sadly, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the man who was confirmed dead at the scene."
