Councillors are set to decide the future of the Queen's Head in Londonderry Lane tomorrow.

An application has been lodged to bulldoze the pub and build 12 homes in its place.

Flames ripped through the pub in May last year after a suspected arson attack.

More than 50 firefighters helped tackle the blaze after neighbours raised the alarm.

It has remained empty ever since and is currently fenced off.

Under the plans, nine two-bedroom houses and three flats would be built on the land.
