Wolverhampton parents accused of baby's murder

The parents of a nine-month-old Wolverhampton girl who died of severe malnourishment will appear in court tomorrow charged with her murder.

Brian and Precious Kandare, aged 32 and 36, from Park Village, were arrested after the death of Rebecca Kandare on January 6 this year.

The baby was taken to New Cross Hospital in the city and died a short time later.

A post mortem revealed the child suffered with rickets and died from pneumonia as a result of severe malnourishment.

The husband and wife were appearing at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court.
