Woman dies after being hit by lorry in Wednesbury
A woman hit by a lorry in Wednesbury has died in hospital.
Lorraine Sheridan died on Tuesday after suffering serious injuries in the crash last month.
The 62-year-old was hit by a tanker in High Bullen at around 10.40am on May 30. She was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's major trauma unit in Birmingham where she remained in a critical condition.
Following the smash the road was closed for several hours while officers from the collision investigation unit examined the scene.

Eyewitnesses at the time described the scene as being like a 'horror story' following the crash.
Councillor Elaine Costigan, said: "It's a concern for all of us, but until we have all of the evidence it's hard to say what happened.
"The council highways department are working hard to come up with solutions."
