Poll: Is it time for HS2 to be scrapped?
With the news that the cost of HS2 could spiral to at least £80 billion, we are asking Star readers if it is time to scrap the controversial rail project.

The new figure – double the current estimated cost of the high speed train line – was revealed in a report by the Institute for Economic Affairs published today.
Campaigners immediately spoke of their shock and backed the IEA's calls for the scheme to be scrapped.
