Wolves fan tries to sell off Jamie O'Hara on eBay

A disgruntled Wolves fan tried to flog midfielder Jamie O'Hara – by putting him up for sale on online auction site eBay.

Outspoken O'Hara, who declared in a radio interview he was a Premier League player in the aftermath of the club's relegation to League One, was put 'on sale' by the fan for 99p.

But one bidder put in an offer of £153,000 for the footballer, who is married to WAG Danielle Lloyd.

The stunt came days after it emerged that no teams had come forward with an official bid for the former Spurs player. The cheeky supporter mocks O'Hara's injury record and lack of fitness, and claims he has 'no regard' towards loyal fans.

He also offered to throw in defender Roger Johnson if the bidding topped £1.50 and to drive O'Hara to the winning bidder's home free of charge.

Both Johnson and O'Hara became targets of abuse from Wolves fans as the club plummeted to the third tier of English football against Brighton and Hove Albion in May.

During the game O'Hara sarcastically applauded fans who chanted songs questioning his reported £30,000 a week wages.

The advertisement says:"He will conduct interviews on programmes for Sky Sports whilst injured and indeed be more than willing to take part in radio broadcasts at the end of the season claiming he thinks he is better than your club's level, with no regard to the people listening who have supported him for the last few years."
