Wolves unveil What House? as new £1m sponsor
Wolves today announced What House? as their new main club sponsor in a deal worth a potential £1million.
The club has signed a lucrative two-year deal with the online property search company. in moves that could bring in a seven-figure sum based on performance-related elements.
What House? has sponsored the back of Wolves shirts this season but will take over the main sponsorship from sportingbet.com from the start of June.
Online betting company sportingbet.com, which has been the club's main sponsor since 2009, was recently taken over by William Hill and its second two-year sponsorship deal was due to end this summer.
The What House? brand – whathouse.co.uk – will appear on the new home and away first-team shirts, all training kit and, for the first time, junior strips.
The company will change its traditional red branding to black on the team's home kit to complement the club's iconic gold and black colours.
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said: "We're delighted What House? have decided to become our main sponsor, after a year supporting the club as the sponsor of the back of the first-team shirts."
The deal means Wolves will have a new main club sponsor and new kit manufacturers this summer after unveiling a £1m four-year deal with Puma last month to replace Burrda. New Puma home and away kits will be available for fans to buy at the home game against Burnley on April 27.
Rupert Bates, of whathouse.co.uk said: "We're totally committed to helping Wolves return to where they belong among the elite of English football."
