The 48-year-old suspect was held in Ansty Road, Stoke, Coventry, after allegedly making threats to kill while in a branch of Co-op.

The drama happened on Monday, but only came to light today when officers posted a series of tweets about it.

The suspect has now been charged with two public order offences and will appear before magistrates in the city April 12.
