Weather presenter Emma tells of break-up with Corrie star

She may have ended her relationship with Coronation Street actor Bill Roache, but Emma Jesson still has a reason to celebrate Valentine's Day.

The TV weather presenter was in Wolverhampton, where she modelled as the face of a new range of jewellery launched to mark the 75th anniversary of Wolverhampton jeweller Rudell's on February 14.

Miss Jesson and Mr Roache, who plays Ken Barlow in Coronation Street, recently ended their almost three-year relationship after drifting apart last year.

But 44-year-old Miss Jesson said the pair were still good friends and had attended an event together in Leicester in January.

She was at Rudell's in Darlington Street to launch Legacy, a limited edition range of 75 pendants, each 18ct with 25 in yellow gold, 25 in white gold and 25 in rose gold and all with 0.11ct diamonds.

The collection of jewellery will go on sale for £795 from Thursday, the anniversary of the store's opening.

The pendants were designed by Rudell's and are shaped like two Js in honour of the company's founder Justin John Rudell.

As a weather presenter for Central News, Miss Jesson met and became friends with Justin Rudell's son Anthony, who took over the business and ran it for more than 40 years before his death in 2011.

She said: "These are stunning pieces of jewellery. I've known the Rudell family for many years and I'm honoured to be a part of the tribute to their company's founder."

Reports yesterday said that Mr Roache, aged 80, had ended his relationship with Miss Jesson due to his spiritual beliefs as a member of the Pure Love Movement.

Miss Jesson said: "It was a few months ago that we drifted apart but we've been speaking over the past few days. We're still good friends."
