With eye-popping dance moves, dazzling costumes and some of the world's biggest hits, Michael Jackson fans are in for a treat with this new show.
Thriller Live is at the Birmingham Hippodrome this week — and it's an outstanding concert which celebrates the career of one of the greatest entertainers in history.
From the very beginning, the cast had the audience on its feet, dancing to the music of the Jackson 5 and clapping along to some favourites from the 1970s through to the 1990s.
However, it was Wolverhampton school boy MJ Mytton-Sannah who stole the show as he played the young Michael Jackson, when he soared to fame with songs such as ABC, I Want You Back and I'll Be There.
The 12-year-old, who trains at Wolverhampton Stagecoach and also plays at Wolverhampton Rugby Club, showed off his multi-talented skills as he bounced around the stage to the music while belting out the catchy tunes. He shares the role with Reece McConnell, from Cannock.
The concert, which is on until Saturday, features a West End cast of performers including singers, a live band and fantastic dancers paying tribute to the true king of pop.
Lead dancer and vocalist Sean Christopher had all of Jackson's moves in his repertoire, from crotch-grabbing gyrations through to his trademark moonwalk.
He and the other male dancers even managed the famous Smooth Criminal 'lean'.
The audience was truly wowed by the incredible choreography and brilliant vocal performances in a two-hour show. Fans of all ages enjoyed the show and it is definitely one for those who want to get on their feet.
