More than 800 vehicles were on display at this year's Classic Car and Transport Show at Himley Hall, near Dudley.

More than 800 vehicles were on display at this year's Classic Car and Transport Show at Himley Hall, near Dudley.

Organiser Geoff Price, from Walsall-based Transtar Promotions, said: "Both vehicle and public turnouts have been way above expectations at shows this season," he said.

The Dudley event, now in its tenth year, has once again attracted a wide range of exhibits dating back to 1920s including a 1924 Morris and 1925 locally-produced Bean Tourer.

Famous marques from the '30s include Lagonda, Alvis, Austin, Rover, MG and Wolseley.

They lined up alongside famous names of the '50s, including the Triumph Herald, Ford Zodiac, Morris Minor, Austin Cambridge; and Sunbeam Rapier.

Enthusiasts from across the region competed with entries from further afield for the nineteen trophies on offer, Classes include custom and kit cars, American cars, motorbikes, and commercial vehicles.

There were 26 club displays, including MG, Jaguar, Stag, Austin A30-A35, Rover, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Black Country classic Fords.

Stunning classic cars were on display at this year's show at Himley Hall, in Himley.
