Jules Richards, 44, started building Lego football grounds around a year and a half ago after a few days off work.

The Cardiff City supporter has now built 53 of the 92 English football league stadiums, including the Wolverhampton Wanderers' ground

The models, which cost on average about £112 to make and are sold for anything up to £200, have since raised money for charities across the UK.

Mr Richards, of Luton, said: "I've had about seven enquiries today to build Molineux.

"I started doing them for fun but sell them now and commission them. I ordered pieces from a website called Bricklink and a guy I order from has half a million pieces on sale."

He has built other stadiums, such as Wembley, White Hart Lane, Anfield and The Emirates.

The grounds are constructed with the help of Google aerial shots and street views, with customers occasionally sending in photographs of the ground they want so as to get the detail perfected.

Selling between one and two a month, the Sainsbury's manager looks to continue the growth of the side hobby into something bigger.

He said: "I would love to do this full time. It's always nice when clubs retweet it.

"I was on BBC Three Counties Radio about six months ago, a guy wanted to interview me, and I had a short chat with him and I said the one ground I'm never going to be able to do is Molineux and ironically now that's happened."

League one side Bolton Wanderers gave him the spotlight when they placed one of his models on the big screen at half time.
