Sarah Millican cancels Birmingham show
Comedy fans were left disappointed after comedian Sarah Millican was forced to cancel a Midlands gig after she lost her voice.
The panel show favourite was due to perform at Symphony Hall in Birmingham and said she was 'gutted' at having to cancel.
Ticket holders will be able to attend a rescheduled show or get a refund.
Taking to Twitter yesterday she wrote: "I'm gutted to announce that we've had to cancel tonight's show at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
"I'm so sorry to everyone who was coming, I have literally no voice. I did last night's show with a sore throat and it's just got worse all day. I thought I might be able to perform but I can barely speak at all.
"And because I want you all to get the show you deserve, we have decided to cancel tonight and reschedule it. We'll let you know the rescheduled date as soon as we know it. Your tickets for tonight will be valid for the new date and if you can't come to the new date, you will be able to get a refund from your point of purchase.
"I'm so sorry to let you all down. I'm gutted."
