Artist Emma Grzonkowski will be making a guest appearance at a Wolverhampton gallery this weekend to unveil her newly curated exhibition of her work.

Castle Galleries based on Victoria Street will be welcoming the contemporary painter on July 16 2016 from 1 to 4pm.

Emma, aged 29, has built up an extensive portfolio of captivating, large scale works. She will present a selection of her original and limited edition pieces, many of which have been hand-embellished by the artist.

Emma's stunning works, which depict strong and powerful women, have gained her a strong following of collectors across the UK, since her launch into the fine art market six years ago.

Emma studied fine art at the University of Chester and it was during her final year of study in 2009 that she was discovered by Glyn Washington, founder and director of Washington Green Fine Art which owns the Castle Fine Art.

Whist she was still an undergraduate, Emma found herself already a professional artist. She said: "My latest exhibition is a representation of all the deep emotion I have felt during my life and how art has helped me process and overcome pain and difficulty. I'm very excited to be exhibiting my work in Wolverhampton."

Sophie Ruggles, gallery manager for Wolverhampton's Castle Galleries, said: "We are very excited to welcome Emma to the gallery. It will be interesting to see the viewer really engage with the intensity of emotions conveyed through the paintings, and we have no doubt that they will be snapped up very quickly."
