Kim Kardashian naked cake causes commotion
She stunned the world with a naked picture uploaded on social media.
Now Kim Kardashian's famous pose has taken a new turn – being turned into a cake by a Staffordshire baker.
Lara Mason's creation is almost identical to the television reality star.
Mrs Mason, who has been in business with Tasty Cakes since 2011, has also created cake portraits and life-size sculptures of celebrities including Jim Carey, Jonny Depp and Kate Middleton. She is completely self taught and only started baking five years ago but her royal works of art saw her strike gold at Cake International at the NEC in Birmingham in 2013.
Mrs Mason, on her Facebook page, said: "I decided to just have a play with some leftovers so I looked to the showbiz section of the newspaper for inspiration.
"As usual, everyone seemed to be talking about Kim Kardashian-West. It was by no means perfect but it was great fun to make."
Mrs Mason also baked delicious doubles of her husband Nick and herself after announcing they were to be married.
To create a Harry Potter bust to mark author JK Rowling's 50th birthday she used 20 eggs and 1.5kg each of flour, butter and sugar, taking 10 hours to complete the sugar artwork alone.
A huge half-sized Land Rover was also created in cake to celebrate the two millionth Defender coming off the production line at Solihull.
