One Direction's Liam Payne is the latest celebrity to take on the Ice Bucket Challenge after he was nominated by Cheryl Cole.

The Wolverhampton-born teen heartthrob completed the ALS challenge surrounded by 1D fans, who were ready with buckets to soak the 20-year-old singer.
Liam has now challenged his girlfriend Sophia Smith, comedians Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly and music producer and singer Pharrell Williams.
