The Walsall swimming star will release Ellie's Magical Bakery on June 5.

The book tells the story of a girl called Ellie, who, like the author, has achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism.

The character grows up with cruel relatives who run a bakery, her parents having disappeared.

Her world changes for the better when she finds a magic recipe for a cake that solves all her problems.

The 19-year-old has revealed the book is based on her.

"It's magical. It's about how she can overcome things," she said.

"It's trying to show kids that if they set their mind to something, they can overcome anything."

Ellie, from Aldridge, was the youngest British athlete at the 2008 summer Paralympics in Beijing aged just 13.

She won two gold medals and followed this up with two golds at the 2012 Paralympics.
