Wholesaler Zooms into Smethwick site
Household goods wholesaler Zoom has taken more than 40,000 sq ft of space on Smethwick's Middlemore Industrial Estate.
Zoom Imports & Distribution Limited (IDL) started as a family run company in 1996 based in London.
Since then it has grown into one of the UK's leading suppliers and wholesalers of general household, cleaning and kitchenware products.
Zoom's range extends into various sectors including personal care, gardening and baby goods as well as homeware and cleaning lines. The letting of Unit 34 was negotiated by Oldbury-based Bulleys Chartered Surveyors. Saleem Butt, from Zoom IDL, said: "For our growth we needed a suitable warehouse in the Midlands and Bulleys have proven to be professional in assisting to not only find one, but also in negotiating the acceptable terms for both parties".
Max Shelley at Bulleys added: "The unit presents very well and has the benefit of a large secure yard at the front of the building. This is a further example that well presented industrial units continue to be in demand across the Black Country."
