A water main sent flood waters three feet high gushing through one of the Black Country's busiest commuter routes today.

Areas around Great Bridge and Dudley Port in Tipton was left submerged by water and cars and buses became stuck in the flood, which caused chaos for motorists this morning.

Around 2,000 homes were also left without water or low pressure throughout the morning after a 20ins mains pipe burst at around 6.45am.
