Vokes' loan move delay goes on
Wolves striker Sam Vokes' loan move to Coventry is logjammed with the clubs unable to agree aspects of the deal.

The parent club want the Wales international to go out for the rest of the season, while the Sky Blues want him for an initial 93 days to review the deal in January.
Wolves are also insisting on a 24-hour recall clause and that Vokes doesn't play in the FA Cup, so he is not cup-tied for them.
Technically, a player cannot be allowed to remain at the same club for a whole season under the Football League's emergency loan system, but it is understood there is a loophole to allow such a move.
The clubs have agreed the financial terms of the deal, with Wolves claiming an undisclosed loan fee from Coventry, who are also prepared to pay Vokes' wages.
But at the moment, the Sky Blues are happy not to rush the move through, especially with Leon Best's double in Tuesday's 3-2 win at Watford taking his tally to six for the season – matching strike partner Clinton Morrison – with the free-scoring pair keeping goalless former Wolves man Freddy Eastwood on the bench.
The indications are from Coventry are that should Wolves agree to let Vokes join them for 93 days, they would agree the deal.
With Chris Iwelumo on the road to full fitness, Vokes is sixth choice striker at Wolves.
He played a full 90 minutes in Tuesday's 1-0 reserves defeat to Chelsea, but desperately needs matches to keep sharp.
