Chemical scare at baths
Up to 40 swimmers were evacuated from Coseley baths during a chemical alert this afternoon.

Five people were reported to have been taken to hospital – one as an emergency.
Ambulance crews set up a special area to treat swimmers who were suffering from watery eyes, difficulty in breathing and asthma-type symptoms.
Emergency crews were investigating reports of a gas leak.
There were fears that some people who could be affected had already left and were urged to visit a doctor if they suffered any symptoms.
