Walsall sack Demontagnac

Walsall have terminated the contract of Ishmael Demontagnac after a serious breach of club discipline.

The 20-year-old attacker leaves the club after his arrest by West Midlands Police, in relation to an incident at the weekend.

Demontagnac was also sent off playing for the club against Scunthorpe in the FA Cup on Saturday.

He leaves the Banks's Stadium having scored nine goals in 81 appearances for the Saddlers, including a career first hat-trick against Southend earlier in the season.
