Comedian Michael McIntyre was taken to hospital with a dislocated shoulder after falling on stage at Wolverhampton's Civic Hall.

Comedian Michael McIntyre was taken to hospital with a dislocated shoulder after falling on stage at Wolverhampton's Civic Hall.

The funny man, who has appeared on TV shows such as Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You?, was running across the stage after returning for his encore when he stumbled and landed badly.

He was taken to the city's New Cross Hospital by ambulance but is now recovering at home in London.
