Albion defender Martin Albrechtsen is planning to dazzle Coventry in the FA Cup tomorrow – thanks to another set of multi-coloured boots.
The Dane has been subjected to constant dressing room jibes since wearing a pair of graffiti boots featuring the names of his girlfriend and children in Tuesday's goalless draw with Sheffield United.
Join us online for tomorrow's cup clash with live text commentary and videos from 2pm.
And the 27-year-old is promising another fashion statement when his new boots arrive, hopefully in time for tomorrow's fifth-round trip to the Ricoh Arena.
Albrechtsen wore his graffiti boots on Tuesday but he is hoping they will not be seen again.
He said: "The boots were a Christmas present from my girlfriend Camilla.
"She has a friend who decorates clothing and shoes. Camilla asked her to do something about my boots, so she graffiti-ed them!
"My name is on one boot and my children's names – Cassandra and Justin – are on the other.
"The paint's started to come off now though so they're not in perfect condition. They're pink, orange, gold, green and blue.
"I wasn't planning on wearing them again. I only played in them on Tuesday because I was waiting for my new pair to arrive.
"The news ones are going to be just as colourful. I do like them. They're fun to wear.
"Of course I'm getting stick from the other players. But that just makes it funnier to wear them."
