A respectable 42-year-old Canadian businessman was stabbed to death in his Wolverhampton home, murder squad detectives revealed today.

The body of Michael Davis Bingham was discovered at his house in Bowen Street, Parkfields, on Thursday morning, having suffered a single stab wound.
It also emerged today that he was a well-known property consultant who came to the UK in 2002. He was last seen alive in Erdington at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
Det Supt Una Cooke said there was no motive as yet and officers were looking into Mr Bingham's past in Canada. "Michael was a well-known and respected businessman who worked as a property consultant," she said.
Mr Bingham lived in Telford before moving to Bowen Close in June.
He leaves a girlfriend and his family in Canada have been informed. He had no children.
Meanwhile, police today charged a teenager with murder following the death of a 19-year-old man outside a pub in Rowley Regis.
Richard Blakeway, 19, was killed outside The Chaplin after what police described as "disorder" just before midnight on Friday involving up to 40 youths.
