Ice time for Connie

Schoolgirl singing star Connie Talbot enjoyed a down-to-earth birthday party with family and friends.

The Streetly youngster celebrated her seventh birthday with a fun session at The Snowdome in Tamworth last night.

The pint-sized singing sensation, who stole the hearts of the nation on Britain's Got Talent, was joined by friends for sledging followed by a meal.

Mother Sharon said today: "Connie had a wonderful time."
