Wolves have run into injury problems for the clash against Charlton which could bring major changes to Mick McCarthy's team.
Definitely missing will be full-back Michael Gray and forwards Stephen Elliott and Stephen Ward, while Gary Breen and Freddy Eastwood are unlikely to be risked.
Breen has been "managing" a knee problem this season but a reaction in training this week has set him back.
"We have a very tough programme coming up and I would rather miss Breeny for one game then four," said McCarthy.
"This game may come a little too soon for him and a bit of rest will do the trick."
Eastwood has returned from duty with Wales with an Achilles problem and did not train yesterday.
He will be anxious to fill the vacancy left by Elliott, who has a hamstring problem, but McCarthy will be reluctant to risk the striker further aggravating the injury when he has Jay Bothroyd fit and available to partner Andy Keogh.
It means five players who featured in the 1-0 win over Coventry a fortnight ago are likely to be missing but Wolves fans will be looking forward to their first competitive glimpses of two 'new' midfielders.
Darron Gibson's arrival on loan from Manchester United has co-incided with the return to fitness of summer signing Matt Jarvis, both of whom are in contention.
Charlton bring an unbeaten eight-game league run to Molineux but will continue to be without injured defender Cory Gibbs and the experienced midfielder Matt Holland.
But the Wolves boss says: "Wolves v Charlton is a big fixture in this division. There will be a buzz about the place but this will be a very difficult test for us."
