The Lines

Meet Wolverhampton indie four-piece The Lines, who supported Pete Doherty live - and survived to tell the tale.

Published

Who are they? Alex Ohm, vocals and guitar

Chris Titley, bass

Dean Bate, guitar

Ryan Edwards, drums

Where are they from? Wolverhampton

What's their sound? Indie. They describe their music as having "a psychedelic edge" and "euphoric soundscapes" which draw comparisons with classic bands. Live, The Lines have "a uniqueness and stage presence to grace anywhere with ease", they say.

What sort of venues do they play? The Varsity, Little Civic, Wulfrun Hall, Civic Bar, and nationally around Manchester, Leeds and London

Anything else? The boys managed to survive a support gig with tabloid bad boy Pete Doherty's Babyshambles. They are unsigned but have also supported the likes of Editors, the Midlands' The Twang, Wolverhampton's Scott Matthews and The Holloways. So don't be surprised if they soon move up to the indie big league.
